I had one die in my yard last year, it stunk like a corpse for a week until i found him wriggling around in a back corner of the yard.
Thing is, the little bunny wasn't moving, it was the plethra of maggots underneath him that made it look like he was alive.
The stench was unreal!! I never want to go through it again.
