I guess it really depends how you were raised that affects the decision. If I was in your position I'd just ask them to pay more respect to the car or else you'll stop giving it to them. *this is just my opinion* but family is more important than a car to me. just my $0.02.

man speaks the truth... it's only a car... that can be replaced for less than 15k these days. big whoop
The only part I have a problem with is OP's bro pretending to be the owner of the car.
In general, I'd have no problems lending my S to a very good friend of mine as long as they bring it back in one piece, still have decent brake pads and tires (
) and fill it up (to the level I gave it at).
But if they become a poser w/ it, that's it. they are cut off.
