Default Windshield replacement

I dont know if this is the right place to post, but have anyone gotten their whindshield replaced?

I had one replaced with an aftermarket glass on a 2006, fitment was good but the guy chipped the paint on the fender removing the moulding. Have to watch these guys!

Chances are you will get quoted with Chinese glass to keep costs reasonable, PPG north American glass will be much more expensive by comparison. Regardless of what glass you go with make sure they quote green tinted glass like the oem, definitely use a new Honda moulding as the aftermarket ones don't fit as well.
I used Speedy Autoglass, Chinese glass with oem green tint, new Honda moulding, worked well.

Thank you for your input. Yea I was gonna go for honda mouldings but didnt know about the green tint! Thanks!!

I think it is called green solar glass or the like. The glass people will know the exact name as long as you specify you want to match the oem tint. Good luck.

when I called honda. Price was ridiculous as usual.

mine was paid for by someone else so didn’t really matter to me but I think it was about $850 or something like that.

where did you get it replaced? I’m trying to find a place I can trust that will do it properly. Also I wanted to go through insurance have a $0 deductible
