well basically i'm one of maybe 5-10 owners of an s2000 in windsor area, and was wondering if anyone every comes down here with their cars.

we need more s2k's down here

 

I'm only there when crossing into Detroit, which is usually only for the Auto Show.

Try living in Peterborough. I've seen three in the past few years. It's funny because I work in Cobourg and have seen a woman in a Suzuka a few times, but it wasn't until recently that I saw her while I was actually driving the S. We exchanged friendly waves, but I didn't get the same reception when I waved to another woman in a silverstone a week or so ago.

 

I'm down in Detroit all the time visiting the big three, in rentals though, never in my S.

Heading down to the SAE Congress at Cobo Center next week.

 

I come down for the auto show in January each year but in a rental car!

There arn't too many more of us in Detroit either. I take my S over to Windsor a few times in the summer but most of the time we go into Ontario via Sarnia. It is actually a shorter route to Toronto or K-W, where we usually hang out when we are in Ontario.

Watch the UMW, Detroit sightings thread. We get together a few times during the summer.
