Xplosiv,

What was the reason for your premium going up? Did you have any tickets and what insurance firm are you with? That's bullshit.. stupid Toronto insurance companies are insane. We pay more insurance than for food...

I thought matthewz s2000 was stole on finch?

Wuts up Rich? You get those MF-10s yet? I have to see your car again when you get those rims.

Anyhow, try carinsurance.ca. It gives you a quote instantly and it's actually pretty good. Give it a try.

Stay away from Liberty Mutual as well.. they wanted to increase $1100 on my damn civic (from $3300) until they "found out" that my 25th b-day was 6 days after my policy renewal date then they decreased it to $2900.

Now I'm w/ Meloche Monnex and I'm paying a nicer amount of $2800 on the S ... mind you its a pleasure vehicle insurance (i'm allowed 19000 km per year) but if I were to put it in commuters' insurance its still only $3300 (same price as a Civic?! what gives?!)

Definitely shop around, its the only way to save! I had to call around 8 different companies before I got the deal I want... and don't bother with online quotes, they give higher rates than the agents that take your call...

If your record's virgin, try Chieftain, they are suppose to have the best rates for 6 star rating drivers.

i am clean for a yr now (i got a 75 in 60 on Jan 2002) but I had an accident last winter (I wasn't at fault, no ticket)

I just need to wait til I am 25 and hopefully my rate gets better.

Rider, those rims are still not here yet, King SAYS they are on the way
