any hood cutting involved?

I'd too like to know if there is any cutting involved. I have an 08 and the way it looks from under the hood, I have a large plastic cover that would be in the way at the very front of the engine bay.
Any info on that?

 

that radiator panel needs a hole cut for it. there is also a bar in the way, it needs to be rotated in order to clear the snorkel
