How the hell did Ocala Deputy Dog find that thing? Running another headlight height roadblock?

more twist, the car was not found by Ocala Police but a wrecker service moved it to ocala. The police are going to the address the car was taken to and will update once more info is available. Im getting really leary of the seller on this thing. It was apparently flat bedded and the ticket was $371 for trucking it up there. This deal is sounding worse n worse by the hour.

Any time a legit tow is done the wrecker service is obligated to log it with the FDLE(Florida Dept of Law Enforcement). This allows a car reported as "stolen" to be found as towed in a database. If someone tried to steal it and called a wrecker to do it and the wrecker driver was not involved in the theft, this is an idiot theif. Who ever authorised the tow will be chagrged with Grand theft and there are photos to verify the condition of the car and all of the parts that were inside. The GT ground effects where removed and in the car as it was being prepped for a new paint job when it was taken.

Not my business of course...but my advice would be to hop into the nearest phone booth and transform into John Bails on this whole deal.

John ... PM any info on the car or the tow service. I have a lot of contacts with both ends (towing and Mustangs) in the Ocala area. If for nothing else ... so extra info on the original seller

Btw ... if you still are looking to get into Mustangs ... I do have a VERY close friend who has built several amazing Fox-bodies and currently has an 04 Cobra (he's an ex-Ford mechanic)

supposedly the car was dropped off at a shop, the tow bill paid. The Ocala Police have seen the car and described it to the person I am dealing with here. Supposedly nothing is missing. The car is supposed t obe dropped off to the house today or tomorrow for my inspection...
Scott- I am actually looking to sell. I have a 67 rolling chassis and an 89 parts car(was driveable until totalled)but depending on the car I am waiting for I might be selling (2) 67s and the 89 as they sit
