Default Been a while

Hey guys and gals.

Well my trip across the country was exciting. Some of you heard about my car, if not. I dropted a sleeve on the way to Pensacola. So, one of these days a new block and pistons. One of these days.

With kids, and a full bed in the Ridgeline with an S on a trailer we made it to NM safely. Dropted the car off on Base and continued on to lovely Pahrump NV. Had fun visiting the family. We went swimming, shooting all my guns, We ate at In N Out burger several times to stop my withdrawls. I irritated the kids because I would not stop to eat until I found one.

I flew Alex out west with my parents. Lets just say I know he is my son. ( like I never had a doubt). He flirted with the flight attendants, and then slept both legs of the flight.

Went to SoCal to visit more family and friends. It was a great time.

I just moved into our home yesterday. Just a few broken items and missing screws and such for furniture. Now I have to file a claim for said items to be replaced. Hopefully this goes better than last time.

Oh the joys of unpacking.

I miss you guys. I promised to stay in touch. Just had a lot of things going on.
Though I still have no idea what I will do assigned here?

Take car all.

For some reason all the issues are pointing to the block done over two years ago.

The car never overheated once. Now I have coolant getting into all four cylnders. Before S&R built the motor I had the block checked out at a machine shop. I was informed that all four sleeves were 5000th of an inch low. I have been on the phone with Darton and we have just pissed each other off. I can't deck the block anymore.

At least wtiht the S&R build I put 6k on the motor. I hope I still have a block available. Then another crap load of money I don't have into another sleeving job, and some other parts. As far as I have been told, inlinepro has never had a sleeve block fail.

I was asking 17k for the complete car. Which is a bargain for what is in it. Either I got no intrest, or some heckleing from the peanut gallery.

Jeff

If only one sleave dropped, how would you get coolant into all cylinders. Isn't each one sealed by the head gasket. I have never seen the head off of one of our engines so I am ignorant to the design.

InlinePro did the sleeve job? Anyway of getting them to cover the damages/rebuild? That seems like some bad press that they wouldn't want to get out to the community.

No Race Engineering, a authorized dealer for Darton did the job.

Next SLeeved block will be with AEBS sleeves by Inlinepro.
