hey guys i am not buying or selling anything here.
just wanted to get some ideas.
looking for something like an old school bobber or road bike for cheap. used
preferrably something american
no sportbikes
cruisers and road bikes

Gotta figure out what you want, man! Are you mechanically inclined? Do you want reliability or easy to work on? Have you ridden before?

looking in the 2-3 grand area. some durable/reliable cheap to fix.

You shouldn't rule out Japanese cruisers then...the 80s bikes are very reliable, quick and tough. Harleys will START in the mid $3k range for project bikes.

My suggestion is spend a week or 2 watching craigs' list to see what's local, the prices you like and the looks that you like....don't rule out country of origin. Feel free to PM me with any questions on bikes you see also.

thanks scotty. craiglist is just sketchy sometimes. but i will check it out anywayz. country doesnt really matter i just want to go all american eventually.

Question

I have a 96 Yamaha Virgo 250cc that has 7,200 miles that I might be selling soon. I just have to fix the Throttle Cable it broke a few month ago.it good on gass gets about 50-60 miles a gallon $5 to fill up
