[QUOTE=Elroy,May 20 2009, 04:36 AM] You have other issues than brake lines!

Chris:

Have you pulled power on the S since this problem? I know on GM's (older models) the valves need to be reset after brake work. I have never heard of this on a S but,,, If you have not, pull the battery and do a map whack on the anti-lock distributor. Question: If you leave the S alone overnight and in the morning (without a parking brake and the brake pressed) will the rear wheel turn without interference from the brakes?

I do not know how to reset the valves on a S, some vehicle reset after a battery is pulled, some reset when you use a reader and tell the ecu/anti-lock brake controller to reset them. Pulling power is just a no cost logical TRY. If this does nothing, bring the S in before you destroy it and you!

ok guys, might have made a break thru tonight. we disconnected the brake line and plugged it (no leaks). turned the piston in and drove the car down the street afterwards. left rear is still hanging up. so my thinking is that the e-brake is just too tight on the left side. i am gona disconnect it from that side 2moro to see if that frees up that brake once and for all. once again thank u guys for all of the input. thanx for the skimatic chip. will update 2moro night
