Default Coilovers are in

Well, after having an epic fail trying to install the coilovers myself, I took it to the pros. I want to give a huge to the guys over at S&R. They did my install and corner balance and I couldn't be happier with both their service and the final product.

Turned out really nice. Were you stock before? Which coil overs did you go with?

What did they charge? And what did the coilovers run you?

After long discussions with the guys at S&R I went with TEIN springs (just to lower it 1", not racing it, so no need to adjust). The coilovers were too agressive for my DD. TEIN makes great products. Really happy for you!

How long to break them in? I drove mine for about a month and then did a realign.

^^^I just noticed what your avatar says....nice!

Anyway, I know the setup is going to settle in over the next little while but I didn't even think to ask how long break in is. I need to give S&R a call. My S is also my DD, but I take the crosstown in everyday so I'm not to worried about the ride.

Off topic, you're out at MacDill right? Where do you work?

Well - set the dampening for 10 or higher so that you get a good amount of travel out of the springs. If you make it to three months without the S pulling hard then take it to S&R for an alignment check. If the alignment is cool then wait for month six or when you get transferred to California. I get mine aligned every six months simply because these cars can not hold onto an alignment for ship.
