Default The embryo of the S2000 ......the SSM

Was just trying to remember what started this car into production. Kind of had forgotten all about the 1995 version of what now came into production. Maybe you knew this stuff....maybe you didn't? But, most of you will enjoy looking up the history of this car, if for nothing else.....old times sake.

I would love creating the cockpit into a "retro" version of the current S2000 product.

Enjoy !!

Just looking back at the publication called "The Encyclopedia of Cream Cars", they state that this SSM had a 2.0 litre "5 cylinder" engine at the time of development. Also had a sequential shift automatic gearbox. It was a 1995 show car introduction.

......You can also look up the Pininfarina Argento Vivo for more pics and insight for the development of our cars. Be sure to check out the hardtop version !!
