hahaha...killer S2k crew?

What about living expenses?

How much is like a one bed one bath apartment in a safe aptmnt complex?

As far as "state tax" in your thread I'm guessing you're refering to our state sales tax? If so, its no t bad because we dont have a state income tax.

As far as living expenses its really no worse here than any other place that I've noticed from friends etc who live elsewhere.

As far as rent I'd expect anywhere around $7-8 and up for a decent place but definitely check www.apartmentfinder.com for different choices.

You mention state tax, Florida does not have a state income tax. Weigh that additional income into your decision.

I live in a super nice apartment right now...

Full Washer and Dryer
3rd floor balcony overlooking water
One bedroom/one bath.
New black Appliances
Tile Backsplash
Roman Tub
Dining Room
Decent amount of cabinet space
Pretty Big Master w/ walk in closet (for Lauren) :-)
875 sq.ft

$745 month for apartment
$100 for electric... never been this high
$100 for cable and internet
$60 water... never been this high
Don't forget about renters insurance..

Obviously you can get a place cheaper than this and a lot more than this if you want to live downtown... but considering I'm close to Westchase.. I'm paying lil extra for location...

PM me if you have any questions...

ummm i just bought a condo..and my mortage is 366 a month and condo fees are 188 a month.. i had to put down a lot of mony..but that was back in november..its a small place but i like it...there are good deals around..problem is apartments deals are hard to find right now, a normal apartment in a safe neiborhood can verry......just about everyone is renting..always keep your options open, and do your research for both apartments and to buy....

PM me if you need a place to live in Tampa. I manage a few apartment complexes and have 2 bedroom apartments in the USF area starting at $500 with a free month's rent and super low move in fee. Not trying to advertise, just help out someone moving to Florida. I moved here in 05, and I know what it is like to pick up and start somewhere new.

So I have made the decisions and I am moving to Tampa initially for 6 months and then we will see how things unfold.

Currently I need help finding a place to live around:

4300 West Cypress Street
Tampa, FL 33607

If you guys know any properties or anybody wanting to rent out like a room with attached bath for temp. I would take you on that offer.
Also I need to ship some of my clothes and stuff, any help would be appreciated.
Please let me know and I will pm you in a second randycsvt.
Thank you everyone, looking forward to meeting some S owners out there
