Pete holds the patend so he can charge what ever he wants for the . Think I would rather over pay for 8 bolts than have my car totalled

FYI these are hardened steel and are tapered so vice grips will not stay on them too .

i know, when you compare the cost of new seats they are worth it. i am just wondering how much he raises the price on them. i can't imagine it costs very much to make them.

i know who makes them for him, talk with them and they are happy with only him selling them..... there is a 200% and more markup on them, he does have to order 100 sets at a time.

McGard charges just as much for the set of 4 wheel locks and the wheels on my car are alot less expencive than these seats are .

^^ McGard.com doesn't give out the prices on wheel locks, but if its the same or around the same, i'm sure that's retail price since I know a few sites such as autobarn.com sells mcgard wheel locks for just about 22bux.

As for the seat locks, 8 bolts?! I'm sure it's only 4 bolts (2 per seat) and a key.

2 per seat and the key the cost per set of wheel locks is much less since this is an ongoing production , I am sure that Pete has a higher cost per set since he only gets a small number each run . Even if he sells 100 sets a year and it is 50% profit your talking about a whopping $3000 and it probably takes a year to sell all of them at that . Let em make his money and put up the 66 bux . I did times 3
