Your shouldn't hot tank aluminum. It has a tendancy to dissolve. Well not so much a tendancy, It will. Try to use some aircraft stripper.

I read your reply (fast cars count only if they aren't broken ) and thought you just got finished downing a bottle of Boone's Farm before your post with the sand blasting. Well, the intercooler gets blasted (sodium I think) tomorrow and dropped off at LHT to be analyzed. That Boone's Farm does you good D, thanks for the crazy think!
