Default How to get rid of clutch delay

I will be replacing my crappy transmission soon and I'm trying to compile all the parts I need. I have the tranny and AP1 flywheel. But to get ride of clutch delay do I need a Ap1 clutch slave and that's it? Also by getting ride of the delay is it going to damage anything?

Easy way is to buy an AP1 slave like I said.. hard way is to remove the valve in your AP2. None of them will hurt anything.

Putting AP1 parts on an AP2

So this means you no longer get to bust my balls in the AP1 vs. AP2 debate. Especially when you are using mechanical parts, not wheels or console upgrades.

I modified mine. No downgrading to Ap1 parts on my car

You are correct, I bought the car with an Ap1 tranny but have had problems with 2nd gear from day one and now it's getting worse. So I want to do it all at one time ( tranny, clutch, lighter flywheel, clutch delay and SS clutch line).

I knew this was coming.
I've got a second to make up on Ron at auto-crossing so this is my next step.

All in good fun, hope this solves your problem and helps you get where you want to be in AutoX times

Ah - understood. The more mods you do to your car, the more excuses I have for being slower than you
