The sun is setting on my time here as a CO on S2ki. I have filled the position twice and there are simply too many mitigating factors surrounding me, my car, and my over all health and well-being.

It is my hope that my replacement will continue to help foster good relationships with the community and hopefully help to heal the obvious rifts between the communities here in FL.

I am making this thread to hold nominations and will open a voting thread at the end of the week.

there is a clear front runner IMHO and I have talked to him about being nominated. he has agreed and I am confident he is an excellent choice for our community.

I confidently nominate Taylor Royal (evil s2k). He has experience moderating other boards, has a level head, and great motivation.

If you would like to be considered for the position of CO, please do not hesitate to step forward.

My roles with the SPGP will not change. I will still head up that project with Shay as long as the SPGP will have us. the CO for our community will obviously be deeply involved as well.

I apologize for my abrupt departure from the position but things change and hopefully this will be for the betterment of everyone. My apologies for not being as active over the past 8 months as I should have been. My behavior is indicative of my schedule and circumstances. you deserve better and hopefully you will get that very improvement ASAP.

I will close this nomination thread in 1 week and then hold a vote after that.

If no one else commits I will hold a mandatory vote thread for my singular nomination. I would hope the community will respond with yay or nay votes regardless of that case, so we can have consensus...

I appreciate the continued support I have received during both of my terms as CO. I do not expect my attendance or involvement with the community to diminish.

Evil S2K is an excellent choice! He is responsive to posts (sometimes over responsive, we wonder if he has a job!!) he is excellent at putting together weekly meets and he is knowledgeable about the car and how a community is supposed to work.

 

Shame to see you "go", Rob, but I completely understand.
