Thumbs down Be on the L@@K OUT!

slusoccer00 (Jeremy & Lauren) just called me early this morning. His car was broken into right at his apartment complex in Citrus Park.

Top was cut and his steering wheel was stolen. they did not get his seats thanks to locks and nothing else seemed to be taken (cell phone etc) see the thieves seemed to be focused on S2k parts. The hood was popped and, since it was still dark when he discovered the car, he is not sure if any funny business happened under the hood.

He is talking with the police now and is starting a claim ASAP.

Watch your car carefully and be careful....seems the activity is ramping up again. Please report any suspicious activity you may witness...better safe than sorry.

He or I will update any information ASAP.

Thanks Rob for posting this up early for me... As Rob indicated the hood was popped up to disable the alarm.... I don't have an aftermarket one but if I do get it back by this weekend expect a perimeter type of alarm on it this weekend....

The police came out and took some fingerprints... I have to call them back out as soon as the car dries to get some really EVIDENT fingerprints on the hood, both doors and the trunk.... the trunk was ravaged through for some reason maybe looking for a amp or something... I didn't have much in there except my work shoes (construction) and are worth about a $100 and cleaning supplies....

The interior appears fine.... except for the missing steering wheel... on gods name do they want with the steering wheel.. I dunno... the shift knob is still there... the CR knob that is... everthing apears fine so far.. I didn't really poke my head in there too much because police still are not finished... I originally thought they took my work cell phone because it wasn't in the center console but it was laying on the passenger floor.... I wish they did take the damn phone because it has GPS in it...

as far as the engine looks.... the battery was disconnected and I didn't notice any wires cut or removed... etc... I will post some pictures up soon and I talked to my insurance agent (State Farm) and I will be taking the car to Kuhn as soon as the police are finished...

Thanks Rob and thank God for Seat Locks... I'm still puzzled they didn't take more or do more damage... with all this financial craziness... the wedding planning must go on... lol... I hope these people get caught... I'm still sick in my stomach... But on the bright side, I'd rather this happen, than any family member or anyone that I know get hurt or sick or worse... I will keep you guys updated and hopefully take these people down who are out for a quick buck or two... Have a great one guys, thank you again!

AGAIN THANKS ROB!

A little update... they got some really really really good prints... calling AAA now to get the car towed down to Kuhn... Kuhn has been notified and are awaiting arrival... I'm calling for a flat bed too...

The police who just came and talked to me where really cool and were very interested in the car and what it can keep up with etc... lol...

He also told me... that for some odd reason the S2000 parts are on the rise lately... so be on the lookout!
