Around 1pm..... So I just finished dropping my bro off at the vw dealer to get his gti. Both cars were filthy so I set the gps to look for the nearest car wash... Driving on park I've got my cruise set at 50 on the left lane when I realize my iPhone has my course reversed and instead of a left I gotta make a hard right or I miss the turn. I look, the way is clear, I cut over two lanes and make a left onto 49th to the carawash, my brother follows. Flashers come on out of nowhere and the cop gets us both for "street racing"???? Now these penalties are incredibly severe... I asked if I was speeding or if I did something illegal all he said was i took that turn like an ass, and that I have a court date on the 8th of june! I could lose my license!! My car is def a target for cops but damn! I need a good lawyer ASAP!

 

What speed is on your ticket, and what exactly are you charged with? And did you use a blinker?

Sounds like you have a good bit of ground to stand on, assuming all of the information provided is comprehensive.

 

i doubt that will stand in court. There needs to be more info then that. I am assuming if he had a legitimate case of racing your ass would have been arrested. I would go with ticket clinic. I think what will be important is your driving history.
