Default Lens Restoring

Some people really didn't notice or said they looked fine but I wasn't happy with them, so I decided to restore them.

So this is what I used, it was around $20 bucks at Advanced Auto

I got the car all taped up and some newspaper, up close and personal this is what the lens looked like..

Now comes the transformation...

The lens on the left is untreated and the lens on the right is treated..

So finally...

OLD

RESTORED

Again OLD

NEW

Now I just have to wash the car! I hope you enjoyed transformation. I did this all in about 2-3 hours.. all before the big game! Pretty simple process, just follow the directions and that's it!

Looks good, I need to do this as well. They're starting to get foggy a bit.

Thanks man,

It really wasn't that difficult, taping it all up took the most time!

I have done mine on my car and truck but it never lasts long. I never used sealant though.

Sorry I have been extremely busy today with my job.

1st Step is have a water spray to spray down the headlights

2nd Step is to spray the Brown Sandpaper given in the bag and for 3 minutes slide the paper back and forth sanding down the lens.. I went for a little longer 5 minutes, make sure to keep the lens wet

3rd step is dry the whole thing off

4th Step is to either repeat step 1 & 2 for more desired look (keep in mind the lens will appear even worse, kinda frightening to be honest) or spray the lens again with this blue sander that's much smoother than the brown one.. keep it wet at all times till finished.. only do this for a minute and dry the lens off again.

5th Step is to apply this application (CV #1) from the package all over the lens and make sure to rub with the given applicator in the package for about a minute dry it again

6th Step is apply this application (CV #2) from the package and make sure to follow the directions because it indications to only apply in a single direction while the given applicator is wet otherwise you will remove the sealant, let the product dry on its own

Switch Sides

After you did the other side return to the 1st Lens and redo the 6th Step for a second coat, wait about 5 minutes to return to the 1st Lens..

****Also make sure you wear the rubber gloves provided in the package... I've heard it can do some damage to the skin!

Have fun! It was totally worth it!!
