Easy to do. Dont over tighten the screws on the splitter and tighten each one a little at a time. The splitter is designed to have flex in it and you dont want it fully tightened

Well, this is all we get for today - lip installed! Very easy overall.

The coastal splitter is apparently for an AP1...so not only did McCune technologies delay my order by a month by accidentally archiving my order but it appears they sent the wrong piece

Hopefully they'll make it right.

They sent me the wrong one when I ordered mine and when I called them they were very apologetic and responded by shipping out the correct one immediately and he told me to keep the incorrect one he had sent instead of shipping it back.

Good Luck, I am sure they will make it right

Well if they let you keep the AP1 lip please let me know. I may be interested in taking it off your hands.

Is the lip OEM or aftermarket? if aftermarket, how is the fitment and finish? It looks good in your pics

Lip is OEM from HandA. Fits perfect and came with everything I needed =)

Got off the phone with "McCune Technologies" today. They no longer make the "splitter" as they weren't making money on the product. They now only make the "bumper guard" which is for lipless AP2 front bumpers. It literally is a bumper guard that just sticks out past the OEM bumper without a lip to protect it from curbs/parking blocks.

So...they are paying for me to return it and I'll get my money back out of the deal - very nice of them. A shame they don't make the splitter anymore. I'll have to keep an eye out for a second hand one I guess.

More pics of the lip install:
