List of things to do on da s2000 before trip
Im going with OEM for the most part on all the parts, but i may need some help on how to do and what-not
Air Filter..... 2000-2005 Honda S2000 Hastings Air Filter about $23.00 online...not bad price actually.
Oil change oem filter/washer+ nut and Valvoline synth reg blend about $35.00
Cheack radiator fluid... anyone has sujestions on what brand if i need it? cost...$20 ?
new Hancook front tyers 205/55-16 Hankook Ventus HRII H405 (this is what i have as my back tires) cost $73.00 each! not bad! and i sort of like the tiers.
Alinment and camber adjustment....$100<----thats the one that hurts the most!

How about the rear diff fluid??? Considering your year of car, I'm thinking of miles possibility on your car.

Wow that Oil change is pretty cheap for synthetic... unless your doing it yourself.

reset ECU before trip.
valve adjustment if it has been 30K or so miles since the last one.
brakes (fluid, bleed, shoes, check system and rotors)
Get your AAA dues paid up and your currnet card in wallet LOL

slusoccer00 yes i did the diff with in 3-4 months when i got the car about a year exactly

Brake and Clutch fluid levels? wow didnt think of thoes...ill have to lookup on how the cheak the lvls and how to add if needed.....

valve adjustment may not be needed unless 1. you hear topside valve ticking or 2. if you just want your tolerences "tight" and at spec...
58K and not knowing if one has ever been performed...50/50 up to you. i would get ears on it that are attached to a professional and have them listen to it to see if you are loose or not.

Unfortunatly i wouldent know what ticking is bad or good....But i may need to call on Taylor again for his help in changing the oil again....I have tools but still a little unsure on the process still..... i have been bad..ive been using quick change oil places
At least im not being a total noob an doing the easy suff on my own.

But i forgot spark plugs..need to cheack em and replace them if nessary.......

oh by the way slusoccer00 i have been using a synthetic / normal oil blend by valvoline, not bad in price but it gives me best of both worlds..and ive heard some problems with full synth oil
