Looking to buy lower mileage 06 and up
Sold my GTR and looking to build an S2000 track car for my company trackHERO. I have my eyes on one locally but wanted to see if anyone knew of a clean 06+ S2000 for sale with relatively low miles.

Most people like to mod a drive by throttle cable motor and not a drive by electronic wire. Also the 06 is almost like an AP3. Lots of aftermarket parts made for AP2s do not fit an 06+, believe me the list is long.
Having a Flashpro is an advantage for simple tuning on an 06, but it becomes a disadvantage for advanced tuning. I would love to have AEM on my 06 but there is not one made for the 06+. I would love to be able to run E85 but not with Hondata Flashpro. I would love to be able to see the data from my AEM A/F ratio gauge on my Flashpro data but the two do not connect(at least I do not know how). With AEM it is plug and play.

Use of the word "some" is apt to be more accurate.

Ap3? AP1 and AP2 only refer to the 3 characters in the VIN that specify the 2.0 or 2.2 engine. No other meaning. It's convenient to think of 2004+ cars as AP2's but that's only in the US and Canada. "Some" of us
know that the North American cars got face lifted and got the 2.2 engine at the same time, but the rest of the world didn't -- and some never got the AP2 engine ever. -- Chuck

My track/autocross/timetrial car is a 2006. I haven't had any issues with parts fitting, or lack of availability of parts.
I'd say its just like every time this discussion comes up, it depends on the goals of the OP.
