yeah, they did put a lot of people out on their buts with this...

Just an update, my service guy called me back and said when he went to order the parts it wouldnt happen and stated it needed the regional Honda reps ok. So he should be in next week to take a look and give it the go.
Ya - Don, Don the dick head! Make SURE that Dan and your service rep (if not Dan) TOTALLY and COMPLETELY understand that you just bought the S Friday and make sure that they convey this to Don and the Sales Manager at Crown. You may want to touch base with you sales person also. Donald refuses every top replacement and Honda customer service stands by his decision hence I have hired representation aka attorney. He just plain hates S2000's and their owners.

Your first mod needs to be seat locks

Check your tires (esp the rears) often as well-don't wait until the tread is past the wear bars.

Look into doing some autocrosses and/or HPDE track days as well.

I just replied to Taylors PM about this one muck of the S2000. Donald is a DSM or Division Service Manager for Honda, not the dealership(s). He shot mine and others down prior to the TSB and after the TSB. Funny thing is/was I started negotiating for an ECO Civic before the TSB was published and told the sales rep Don ruined the sales after my last shoot down. I do not believe you will have a problem since you just purchased the S, I just can

I hope yours comes out in your favor. How bad is the tear in your top?

No tear. Just a protective patch on the inside to prevent the wear mark increasing.

ah I see....you think maybe thats why he said no? because there was no actual tear yet? Either way thats kinda silly, if it has a wear patch a tear is soon to follow.
