Fun times again...thanks to all that helped out and I guess Almond Pound Cake is on the menu for next year for sure!!!



Thanks again everyone for making this happen. Our future schedules will be tight like this but no so out of whack...I will be making contact and arrangements with Ruthie in the future around January so expect stuff to be paced about the same in the future. Of course we will know more and have better timelines but things are so practiced that we don't need months of lead in time to make things happen.

JUST MAKE SURE, IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, THAT YOU MAKE LOOSE PLANS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND START LOOKING FOR INFO!!

I asked about next year and contracts for the race are now year-to-year....gone are the days of 5 years commitments etc. As long as the race is here though, we have parades to run.

I had a great time at this event and can't wait to do it again in the future. Thank you to everyone that helped from coordinating with Indy Car, to getting the RV site set up, to bringing supplies, to cooking, to organizing meals, to planning meet ups, and leading everyone to the races on Parade days!

Next year, I'm going to actually wear my ear plugs...lol. By Sunday evening my ears were done - I didn't even want to talk to anyone.
