Repair tips, ideas...
So someone left me a little parking lot present and its considered a "collision" by insurance - i.e, $500 deductable and raised rates.. woo hoo.
Anyway, I need a drivers side fender. I got quoted today at Kuhn - $750 if I source my own fender, $1130 if they get it. Both quotes include liner.
What do ya'll think? Should I just source (if you have one LMK please) an SSM fender and bolt it up or does it need to be paint matched? Any help would really be appreciated. Pretty bummed out.

Get the fender from Majestic. Everyone should get all your parts there for that matter.

that metal looks stretched and hard creased over the wheel part = no hope for repair IMHO....I mean you can bondo anything but would you necessarily want to???.....it will never be the same and always show flaws so why make the effort....
