You can modify the frame... we have installed newer tops on 2000-2001's a few times.

 

Called Mickey and found out the top is not for sale anymore .

 

OK....lets talk the type of material.....anybody got input on the various types versus the OEM....as far as longevity, looks.

Mine wore in the typical spotsI wish I ad noticed it earlier as I couls have reinforced the two wear locations and gotten maybe another couple of years out of it.

 

It is worth the drive to go to Orlando. Many members have had tops put on there with no problems and you can't beat $900.

If LHT will do a quality top installed for $900 I would go there.

I am hoping I get another 4-5 years from my OEM top . My car is now like Indyana , Barry parks his in the garage with the top down . I now know how it is to go topless for WEEKS on end .

 

Well, price would depend on what top you want. The OEM top from Honda is close to $850 alone. If your looking into a Robbins top or something like that Im sure around $900 installed would be about right. As I said.. Call us at the shop. 727 344 1800.
