a "rolled" fender should not look altered at all after you are completed....a "flared" fender will show signs of manipulation

Where do you live? JAviso found place to rent a fender roller for $30. The rears are pretty easy. Use a hair dryer to warm them up and go slow and only roll a little at a time. That's all I can think of as I have only done it once.

DO NOT USE THE BAT. I can show you why as I have one fender rolled by a less than perfect bat and the other rolled by a roller. I had a shop do mine and after they messed up the first one I used the fender roller on the other.

I have done a couple fronts and backs... not that bad. Don't use a bat. Rent a fender roller and take your time. It really is hit or miss as to if the paint will hold up or not. Depends on alot of things.
