I'm not trying to be dick for once. Honestly bro your shit is always broken and i have no idea why. I never EVER had half the problems you have had on any of my cars. I have had turbos, nitrous you name it. Its its hardware then you got ****ed many times. Your set up should not have problems if its tuned right and built right. You say it wasnt tuning so who built it?
Do all that to S2000 and not a Civic and I'll pay more attention to you

That is the most ignorant statement i have ever heard. If that is your thought process i can see why you would have issues keeping your car running. I'm honestly not trying to give you a hard time but would love for you to please let everyone know the terrible problems you have had. I can tell you i bought one of the first 100 AEM ecu's out that had problems. I also had a sleeved block that they golden eagle first installed sleeves that leaked then tore the whole motor down only to get the block back with a hole in the return oil passage. For the record Daris the difference between me making 500whp and 700who was another 10k. So i know about $$$$ and building cars. there was not much left on my car to make it a Civic.

Most of D's problems were the welds on the manifolds and the weight of the turbo. Not his fault. He did try and reinvent the wheel but that is what is great about great about America, you can do that. Try new ideas and fail. Get back up and make it better.

He has a great car now and more power to him.

I say Good job for trying something new on your own. GOD knows you have suffered for your success.

NOW kick ASS!

Now that's some funny shit rofl

Everybody STFU and calm the F down. Ok not everybody, just Ron. I'll type everything up on the build thread tonight and post it in the FI forum and throw the link back here. It will be comprehensive, so if your idea of a performance mod is an intake, you might as well stay clear because most of it will be over your head.

And for the record, you guys gotta understand that this car wasn't, and STILL ISN'T my priority. I don't daily my S like most of you do, which is why I can afford the downtime. Yes, it was slightly depressing when it was broken for so long but the reality is, I wasn't in much of a hurry. If it blows up tomorrow I will be pissed, but then I'll shrug it off and get back in my Yaris. I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone that wants to get into this horsepower game - DO NOT make your project car you daily driver. Things WILL go wrong and things will break so plan ahead.

My hope is that at least one person can learn from my mistakes and when they go down this road, they do not have to stumble over the same hurdles I ran into. But make no mistake, ALL project cars have hurdles and downtime. Every. Single. One.

Fast, cheap, reliable - pick two.
