I finally got a chance to look at my dyno sheets after a weekend of Snowboarding and I'm not as unhappy as I initially was after hearing about my numbers. If you take a look at my sheet and compare it to James dyno above and others posted you can see why.

With the combination of EMS, Berk header, Berk TP, HKS exhaust, and a good tune, I was able to get longer and smoother lines throughout the band earlier (Compare to VVS)

I did loose about 10hp up top after installing the Berk Header, but it allowed me to smooth out VTEC and and gain the 10hp back throughout the curves, which is exactly what I was looking for.

I do plan on going boost and this will give me more power early on compared to other boosted cars.

Now, if I could get Kraftwerks to hurry up on that damn AP1 S/C

EDIT: I do have a question for the track enthusiasts. Would you rather have more power midrange or up top?

Midrange foo! Power up top is only useful on decently long straights where you get the chance to run up the revs...the rest of the time you're stuck somewhere in the midrange.

Was that 10hp loss right after installing the header? Or did you drive on it for a couple days, this is the 3rd claim ive seen about the berk header losing power and ive just installed mine After contacting bryan at berk technology he said that you have to drive on the header for a couple of days to get the ecu to re-learn after the header, but I just keep seeing more and more dyno graphs that lose power with the berk header.

I have an EMS so that doesn't really apply to me. But yes, if you do have a stock ECU, you should wait before testing any header.

I just noticed how lean your AFR's are now...I had been talking with Twizted awhile back when I was street tuning my ITB's, and he told me that optimum torque is attained with an AFR closer to 13.0:1. We richened out my map and took a little timing out of my tune from Rick when I was up at Stage 6 and I picked up power everywhere - along with having a more "conservative" tune.

Thanks Nate, I'll take a look at it.
