Sebring
Hey guys, I'm taking my Sebring Silver S2K to Sebring! Anyone who's interested, there is one more novice spot left! I have never been and this will be my first track experience driving, outside of autocross. Does anyone have any tips or precautions?

Still one spot left, here is the link to the Chin Motorsports page with all the details. It's May 6th.

Here is the cost breakdown:
Chin Motorsports annual dues: $50 (allows you to sign up for Chin events all year long)
Track Day: $299
Mandatory Instructor for all Novice Drivers: $75
(A novice driver they are classifying as anyone with fewer than 10 track events, autocross doesn't count)
Schedule puts you at roughly 3 hours of track time for the day!

Also, I'm looking to replace my gloves before the event. Anyone know of a local place to get some good auto racing gloves not motorcycle gloves), Alpinestars or similar? My old Alpinestars motorcycle gloves have worked well for my autocrossing, but are starting to finally fall apart. I can't bring myself to order gloves online that I can't try on first.

I have a pair of Sparco gloves I used twice in a formula car, I think they are large. The are a full nomex race glove, red in color with leather touch points (fingers palms etc). Looking to sell them if you are interested PM me your phone number and I will send you a picture.

effective rotors, effective at cooling that is. I have a set of stockers all around if you need a set. also have the OEM pads on all 4 corners, already broken in.... Sebring is hell on brakes/rotors, especially in warm weather.

Does anyone have any experience with an OBD2 Wi-Fi scanner for an iPhone app? I hear Harry's Lap Timer Pro is good ($20 app), especially with and OBD2 Wi-Fi scanner. I really want to do the data overlay onto video of my Sebring experience. Anyone have one of these?
