This is a cool in car video of a fast lap by Senna in one of the Honda McLaren cars in the late 80's or early 90's. Watch for the slow cars at 33 seconds and how he avoids them pretty amazing given the closing speed etc.

DAMN! That gauge cluster looks familiar.

 

Only one time did he struggle with opposite lock, but he was fighting the steering wheel the entire lap.

 

Sound of that engine is ultra-intoxicating.

 

I thought I was seeing things....

I'm currently looking for a picture of that dash.

 

I believe it worked backwards from ours if I remember right. i.e. light bars disappear to the right as the RPM's increase.

 

suspension has come along way since then......wheel hop anyone????
