It was 12:09 am and when I looked at the clock. I said "oh its after midnight" to which she replied "oooh did you get me a easter basket" (24 yrs old and still loves easter baskets). I go to the other room and get the "easter basket." It had a stuffed animal surrounded by easter eggs. I told her the middle egg is the best. She started with the surrounding eggs, opening them and reading the notes inside each one (quickly tho because she was looking for candy). Once she reached the last one, I opened for her and she saw the ring sitting right inside. She was taken back at first as I don't think she understood it until I asked her to marry me. She got a smile from ear to ear and my heart melted. She stayed up trying to text and call her friends and couldn't sleep all night because she was soo excited. I am the luckiest man in this world. YAY!!!!
