It will/should be moved and it will most likely be locked...be thankful it is not deleted.


if you are going to gain profit from the sale of goods on the forum, you should support the community by becoming a member. the cost of the membership goes to to help pay for and maintain the servers and the people that run the site. We support this notion by enforcing a rule locally that you have to be a member to sell items on this site.

Not only does it show support but it also gives the buyer a bit of recourse should something go "wrong" with the sell. Not saying you would bail on the sale but a guest could be anyone, a member has vested interest in staying a member and also has more info on file.

Besides I'm not familiar with the laws for an exhaust but when I got pulled over in my rice burner years and years ago... My issue was I didn't have a Cat hence the noise was rediculous. All I had to do is take the car down to the DMV and show that I had a Cat on there and it would have been like a $5 dollar ticket instead of an $80... I paid the $80 ticket...

Please don't be that generation Y (Which I'm part of) that complains all the time about certain rules... Famous saying:

if you were trying to sell 20.00 hood spacers or something I would say you have a very very thin point.

you are selling a decently priced object 300.00.....thats a tidy sum

you are given a chance to market your item to a highly concentrated and motivated core audience made up of S2000 owners almost exsclusively...can you say target market??

the site has set up it own rules and graciously allowed its sub communities (FL and others) to decide their own rules...

we have all decided (over years of debate) to follow the guidelines set forth by our national charter. It offers support to the community and gives us (the buyers and sellers) some recourse should something go wrong.

If you cant pony up the membership costs then,frankly, you dont deserve the privilege of marketing to such a highly concentrated group of similar owners. How diverse a market do you think you would get on craigslist or ebay....post there and hope and pray is all I got to say.

good luck with the sale. I feel bad for your current situation but 20.00 or so to make 300.00 is a no brainer for me. If the exhaust ticket wiped you out completely, you may want to rethink the car...you may be over your head a bit.

Put it this way.... if you bought a membership and (over the course of the next year) sold the exhaust and say 1 or 2 other things AND lets say you found a killer deal or two on a couple of things in the for sale sections of the site, would you be ahead or behind the game???
