I'm interested in the Friday tickets... was thinking about taking my son over for the day. Is there much to see/do on Friday? Seemed like there might be less people and easier to get around...

friday has mostly practice and qualifying. there is an airshow and two drift exhibitions that day as well

A good day to see all of the exhibits and a lot of car action.

all "lappers" have a parking pass for the RV lot (GATE 8) that is good for all 3 days

All of the decal participants have ticket passes for the LOT 8 volunteer parking area (a ticket for each of the 3 days)

Notice the difference GATE Vs. LOT these are two different areas.

I do not have maps or anything denoting the exact location of LOT 8 but it is around the Tropicana field area
