Default Sway bar opinions

For the guys running 225 front and 255 rears what are your thoughts on sway bar options? Upgrade both, just front, just rear? I know there is info if I search but I'd rather get the opinions of the few local guys I know and trust. Thanks.

Only the front is needed. If you are running a 225 up front then a tanabbe will work just fine anything bigger is a waste

Cool. Thanks. Next time we are both at the Dragon together you have to take me for a ride in the NSX.

Did you get it all fixed?

I dont know if they are cheaper to get or not but I heard the CR bars are a decent upgrade from stock.

I have always ran Tanabe front and rear. Having said that, my coilover springs are compressed more in the rear and dampened more in the front which gives the S a very neutral feel/handling in hard cornering.

What year is your car?
Depending on year, a 00-01 or CR front bar may be a nice upgrade that will be relatively inexpensive. For ease of install and maintenance, if you go aftermarket, make sure it uses the stock endlinks.
Like it was stated earlier, anything big on the front will be a waste, and will just cause understeer.

I've never understood adding a bigger rear bar to the back of these cars. In my experience, it makes the cars very unpredictable at the "real" limit, as opposed to the "I'm driving so fast, listen to my tires squeal" limit. My car right now doesn't have a rear bar, but I'm adding a Miata sway bar that is about half the rate of the AP2 rear bars.

You have to push the car to notice a difference. You wont on the street. If the old man would Autocross then he could tell a difference.
