Thursday Weekly Meet

The reality is not everyone is going to make every meet no matter where they are held. Bradenton is a part of the Tampa Bay area (as far as the forums go) and having a meet there or close to Bradenton is a good idea.
The Brandon location is close however having a meet in say Riverview, Ruskin or Apollo Beach would be even closer. I think we can keep moving the weekly meet locations around and keep it interesting for everyone.
We will have other "special events" that will draw people from all over the community, such as the upcoming Wine Tour on 11/15.
Personally I enjoy the opportunity to drive the S to get to the weekly meet, but my S is not my DD and sometimes this meet is the only time in the week when I drive it.
Gas prices are down, the weather is finally cooling off how can anyone complain about an opportunity to drive your S to a meet to hang out with fellow S owners and your friends?

For example, I made the first 3 weekly meets but missed yesterday due to my work travel schedule. However I didn't blast everyone who didn't make the first 3 meets.

I have no problem driving to Barandon or Bradenton or anywhere but it will have to be on a weekend. I cant go that far during the week. If anyone wants to plan a weekend meet like i did at tilted kilt go for it. We need to keep the weekly meets close to where everyone is driving from. So far i think we have achieved that. Look foward to the Hooters meet.

No problem guys, I just could not tell if everyone was joking around or not and hated the thought we might actually be getting in each others face over not showing up at meets.

I would like one of the meets to be in Bradenton but I understand the logistics. The meets in north Tampa were 1.5 hours from my house. I happen to work in St pet so making the meet is not hard but the drive home is long. As long as we do some in St Pete from time to time I will be fine. As long as the meet place has movable acoustic walls.
