They tightened up their rules regarding helmets (open face not allowed) and roll bar (stock hoops not sufficient).

I'm a maybe for this event. FIRM looks more fun and is about the same cost and I should have roll bar in order by then. I can see the appeal for those looking to avoid that.

I believe it's required for both now. Some discussions seemed to indicate they may change the rule back if we can show them that SCCA allows stock hoops (which they do).

Yes the new manager said even with a factory hard top you need a roll bar which is ridiculous

i heard that the OEM top is fine. but with ANY aftermarket top you NEED a roll bar setup.

For the firm as the rules sit now u need a aftermarkwt roll bar no matter hardtop or not
