What's up Tampa s2ki!? I am visiting here near the USF area and plan on coming back soon. I am thinking about driving down from NY in the S and would like to plan attending some meets or car shows etc..

Any info and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm here now but leave Thursday. I plan on coming back july and/or September.

 

Go back Friday and meet us all at Outback in St. Pete after the Thursday parade

 

Oh man I wish! But have to be at work Friday. What's the parade about?

Now that I know better I will be checking this section much more often.

Do you guys meet all year round? Meets die out in NY for fall and winter.

No excuse

The parade is for the Indycar race in downtown St. Pete this weekend. As far as regular meets, we have "biweekly" dinner meets every three or so Thursdays. Definitely no dying down in fall or winter, that's when the heat is bearable.

 

That parade sounds sweet.

I am loving this warm weather! We get a little nutty up in NY and were having top down drives in 35 degrees lol. Might be better if I drive down in the fall. I would burst into flames if I do it in the middle of summer. I guess I can keep an eye here and plan it out.

What's the age group like? In Metro NY we range from mid 20 to late 30's for the most part.

 

Wide variety. Some of us are in our 20s, some 30s, some old fekkers like Chip and Barry
