As the title says I will be spending a long weekend in the sarasota area. Thought I would stop by this forum and see what kind of night life there is around there. Any good clubs in the area that I should check out? Good restaurants that are a must? Never been to florida before so thanks in advance for any replies.

 

Where are you coming from?

Driving the S?

With the wife or GF, or maybe the Mistress?

Might help to know for suggesting thing to do, places to visit etc.

Without knowing this I would suggest checking out St. Armand

 

I'm flying down with my girlfriend, my best friend and his wife. We'll be staying with his mom. Her and her husband just moved down there not too long ago and wanted us to all come visit.
I just looked it up on a map and it looks like we'll be right on the little sarasota bay if that helps narrow down the area a little bit. We're all in our late 20s so looking for some fun things to do but not looking to just get drunk every night.
