Default Why is S&R...

Is it b/c of guys like Jeff, Bobby and Diego? Is it the work they do? Is it their professionalism? All of the above?

My Story:
So I thought I just blew a hole in my head and needed a new one. Jeff told me head had a spare one he was willing to sell me. Drop of the the s2k Tuesday and Bobby calls me later and let's me know I FUBARed my #2 cylinder. He talks to Honda about getting a new short block and gets it there the next day. Friday rolls around and I'm driving my s2000 home. Still breaking it in, so I haven't gotten to v-tec it yet, but it seems much better than even before the motor crapped out completely.

S&R Performance = You get your money's worth for sure, and then some.

Looks like the spark plug was torqued down incorrectly and it ripped out the plug threads. When that happened the airbeing sucked in resulted in a lean and dry cylinder causing sever scratches in the cylinder. Why past being able to bore it out. Honda only allows .25 over and then just the pistons from them cost $775.

Now he has a new Honda shortblock with a warranty.

Happy motoring!

Jeff

^100% on the money. Still breaking in the new motor. 210 miles down and 390 to go... The grin on my face is priceless.

Don't worry Mario, I'm sure you've heard me drive behind your house a few times since I got it back. Quiet time is no more.
