Ive got a AEM V2 intake and I was thinking of cutting out the fake vents on the AP2's front bumper and routing the airflow from both vents via some type of tubing directly into the intake. Basically hoping to have a ram air intake on steroids... Would this be worth it? I know some guys do this for the brakes but has anyone tried this for an intake??

Check with Ben (AKA:Puddydad). He fabricated some wild fandango of a cold air box with air coming from 4 different sources that included these vents.

I just ordered the Coastal Metals side grill vents (for AP1). Haven't gotten them yet, but I was thinking about routing the air either up to the intake or to the brakes, haven't decided yet.

I cut mine out. Works great. The filter sits right there so no need to make anything

Do you think I would be able to connect the PRM honda fit intake onto the s2000?

If so, I would love to connect a Y onto it with dual hoses coming from the fake vents!!!! I have a feeling this might be sick!!!!!!!!

Think there would be gains?

That will.sound cool but don't think you will see a gain in power. The stock airbox works great and its plastic. Aluminum holds heat so it might get heatsoaked. I put my intake on because I love the sound of vtec

I agree with Ron on the lovely noise! I can still hear the intake over my exhaust even!
