same day as the BRR event in Salem, which is closer to my school

I promise that one day I will attend an ETR autox. I'm not sure when that day will be though

How was it today? We had rain all day in Salem, which made for some interesting action. I discovered that spin out more when its DRY than when its wet

Bet it was wet out there. Coquinn were you able to make a run of it?

It was pretty wet when we first got there in the morning w/ a steady light rain. After the day went on though, the rain would come and go. At the end of the first run group (of course the group I was in) was when the rain was the worst. The last runs of the day there was no rain at all, but still a lot of standing water.

Finished sixth overall in RAW time, tenth in PAX. I think it's time to upgrade brake pads and fluid - I'm not able to drive as deep as I want now.

I missed you out there DA, hope to see you at the Walters State event later this month.

Congrats on the class win!!

I placed almost identically to you, but I was 7th overall (10th pax and won my class like you though lol). I had a run good enough for top 3 overall going but botched the last section badly and dropped about a second I ran my street tires too, which was interesting with a car setup for the comp rubber (swaybar was set too stiff by 2 holes so the front was pushing like crazy). I was very surprised at how well the Star Specs handled the water though, they gave me a lot of confidence. This ws the first time I've ever run in the rain, so I was extremely cautious and conservative. I know I left seconds on the course strictly based on that. Is it strange that I actually LIKED running in the rain? It really made me pay attention more and I feel like I learned a whole lot more than I normally would if it was dry.

I like running the in the rain too! It's working the course and everything else involved in the rain that I don't like.
