a guy and his friend have been building the castle as long as i have lived around trashville since 1995, they hold the""RENASIACE FAIR" at the castle every May for about 2 or 3 weeks. i saw a episode of "TENNESSE CROSSROADS" on WNPT PBS chanel 8 years ago that featured the annual renasiace fair & about the ownerbuilding various aspects of the complicated arch brickwork thqt took him years working on weekends

well it's a real castle...just obviously not medieval times...that just wouldnt work out on the whole timeline of the world thing....i still think the biltmore is a much more impressive home....but the unique thing with this castle is the guy isnt remarkably rich or anything...thats why it's taken him so long to get stuff done cause he barters with the stoneworkers glassworkers etc to actually get this stuff fabricated and built...so its definetly a man living his dreams and not having much in the way of means of getting it done
