ok, i was dumb enough to trust Crest Honda. realized that the idiots gave me the wrong filter when i saw jake and todd's exchange about oil filters. drove to trickett honda this morning and got the correct one installed. took the PLM filter back to Crest.

talked to the service manager, she didn't know anything.

she called the parts manager and HE said that i was right.

and she was wondering why no one has ever complained. i told her that there are plenty of negative feedback on their lack of knowledge.

so they will start stocking the PCX filter.

and they refunded my money.

 

that is really relieving to hear - I still don't trust dealers though

Crest... I dunno... they had THE only Laguna Blue S2K around here, and they wanted $3K more than other dealers who had the blue ones... they wouldn't budge!

Of course, that's the sales side, not the parts or service sides...

 

yea they had the only ap2 rio but i did haggle them a little on the price it had been sitting on the lot awhile and the first thing i do with any new to me car is change the oil and filter over to mobil1 oil and filter

 

Crest is a joke! They send us warranty work so they dont have to do it if the car "came" from Reddell... They're stupid... lol Dont like them at all they have lack of knowledge and not a great history of taking care of the customer, but thats fine... We'll take the business!
