Default Damaged

So, I was nice and let my dad borrow my car today, and some Tahoe with a trailer hitch backed into him.

I haven't seen the damage yet, but the word is that the tail light is long gone and the rear bumper is cracked. Which leaves me with two questions:

1. Has anyone here had to have body work done to their car, and is there anyone in the area you would recommend?

2. Has anyone had to replace those specific parts, and do you have any idea how much it might cost?

Fortunately, the guy has insurance. They say they'll pay for my rental car and all that, so I'm not super worried. I just want to make sure it gets fixed properly. Thanks!

There is a NFR bumper for sale in the classified section right now if you want to avoid a body shop. But if the Tahoe hit you then let a body shop buy a new one and paint it. I think there are others here that have used a shop in north Alabama. I used a local guy in Hendersonville when I needed a fix. Good luck with the fix and hate that it happened.

Yup, trailer hitch knob got me on my left fender, got a quote from a family friend for 350. I will let you and the community know how the work turns out.

he get your fender or quarter panel....cause 350 is awful cheap for quarterpanel work unless it's reallly slight...not to mention a OE tailight housing cant be too cheap either....350 just sounds really inexpensive
