They are the only Acura dealership in Nashville... Never really dealt with them before though.

I would go to another Acura dealer. Not only are the sales people super sharky, the service department sucks. The dealer in Chattanooga is really good, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Here's a couple of examples of the service at GF Acura. A friend brings in his ITR for warranty work. We go in to check on it, and they've got his $1000 JUN header laying on the concrete floor. It was covered in scratches. Another friend brought his RSX-S in for warranty work. For the job, the front wheel well liners needed to be removed. The service techs couldn't figure out how to remove the little plastic pop buttons, so they cut them out with tin snips. When they reinstalled the liners, they used sheet metal screws and just drilled into where ever they could to make them stay in. When the service and general managers were contacted by my friend, they tried to say that's how the car was brought into the dealership.

There is one tech there that is very very very good.. not sure if he is still there or not. But his name is Barney Demonbreun. He works on the NSX's and a lot of the NSX guys from the NSXPrime community bring their cars to him to do their work. Other than that it sounds like they are a bunch of retards.

We bought our TL there. I knew the salesman though and was pleased with the deal I got. I agree that the service department sucks. No reflection on the particular mechanics...just the way the department is run. We have had soooo many problems with them. Arrogant, rude, lying SOB's...

*edit*
Oh yeah...We waited 4 hours for them to get the car detailed and install the pinstriping...When it was finished I ran my fingers across the trunk deck and they were black. The best part is that after they applied the pinstripes they used a knife to trim them...right on the paint Scratches on all 4 corners, I was furious! It only went downhill from there. Love the car though. 145k miles just last week and runs like a champ!

I bought '02 TL-S from Gary Force Acura back in 2001. I've been treated really well by their service department. It sounds like my experience with them is completely different from you. I acutally don't mind buying another car from them.

If you're going to get your car serviced by them, ask for Marcus in service. He's been really great and treat you with respect.

I have met a few very UN-knowledgable sales people there but can also vouch for the quality of work that Barney does I'm sure if you request him for any work it will be done very well but other than that I cant really comment.

They fired the original Service Manager just days after we had our second run in with them. Marcus was such an @$$ after that, that we dealt strictly with the General Manager/Owner from then on. He personally delivered a loner car to my wife that day. The service has gotten better, but everything still left a sour taste in my mouth.

Really? You know what's going at the service more than I do. I've dealt with other people, but to me Marcus has been the best to deal with. In specifics, what did he do? From what I know of him and my experience, it's hard for me to picture him the way you described.

I guess you're talking about the Acura Dealership. I bought an accord from them and it's fine and I felt good about the price.

I'm in bowling Green, KY and we have two Gary Force Dealerships here: Honda and Toyota. I've talked to a sales person at the Toyota dealership and wasn't happy, but I'm not usually happy after talking to salespersons. I have my Accord and S2000 serviced at the Honda Dealership and am very happy with them!

I've found that Gary Force's dealerships favorable.
