Default Headlight Psoriasis

Wondering if anyone else has seen this on their headlights and knows of a remedy other than headlight replacement.

It's not dirt, and I've tried cleaning it off. It's best seen in direct sunlight... I had a hard time getting a good picture of it.

Thanks.

Hrm. Classic AP1 syndrome.

Pick up an Ap2 FTW!

Just kidding. I think there's special plastic polish you can get to clean that up.

The lens is pitting from rocks/sand debris blasting the lens while driving.

I've polished a few sets on a high speed buffer (off the car) with plastic compound and it's gone

Get a buffer and DIY man. You'll find all sorts of things you'll want to polish then

nah, Pete is the resident knob polisher

Seriously though, its just the wear and tear of a plastic housing, you can try to buff it out but eventually it will come back, not to mention the heat created by HID's.. maybe you should stop driving at night

Where does one find plastic compound? Home Depot?

I don't mind re-polishing.. I'll become an expert.
