Well Grainger, Im not buying an extra set of headlight per se, just the amber diffusers that are inside of them.

^ weird!

Mine have a slight haze on them. Ive used plastic-x and it helped, but Ive decided Im gonna take them out and wet sand them....eventually,lol.

hollywood did you try the plastic-x with a PC and light cutting pad? Ive seen amazing results with that combo and am about to do the same to mine.

I havent tried a cutting pad yet, but I was considering it.

Ive heard of weird things but Ive never heard of using toothpaste, I may try it. Does brand matter, lol?

No, theyre all abrasive. And next time youre around, Ill hit your headlights with a cutting pad if I got my stuff.

I disagree. Toothpaste is not better than a dedicated plastic polish, if it were, there would be no dedicated polishes and all detailers would have another compartment in their bag for either Crest or Colgate. Yes, it may work, and Im glad its worked well for you, but no time in the near future am I going to have my headlights smelling like Extreme Herbal Mint.
