Default Help.

i have a knocking noise coming from my engine. Does anyone know of a good Honda(S20000 mechanic) in the Nashville area. I took my car to Honda and they said its a possible bent rod being that its coming from the bottom end, but I have that feeling that it could be something smaller because it sounded like something hitting the valve cover. Any help would be appreciated.

Send me a PM dude and I can get you my number for you to text me. We can arrange some time for me to take a look at it. Where are you located?

Cool, I'm not far from you then. Just shoot me a PM. I could possibly come by this evening depending on how quickly I get some other stuff done today.

Was over there, did a preliminary diagnosis. Sounds like it is rod knock but I'm going to be pulling the valve cover for him on Sunday to inspect everything to make absolute sure that it's not in the top end, although I highly doubt it due to the signs/symptoms it's giving.
